When Sir John Hall bought Wynyard Hall in 1987 the gardens were derelict. His ambition was to create a beautiful rose garden and he turned to garden designer Alistair Baldwin to help realise his dream. The garden was opened in August 2015 and contains thousands of roses plus an extensive collection of perennials chosen to extend the seasonal range of interest, from early spring to winter.
