For many people pruning is as bewildering as potions were to the young Harry Potter but armed with the 10 principles in this talk you will never fear pruning again.  In addition to these principles Timothy look at the various classes of pruning with many examples of trees & shrubs commonly found in gardens.

Timothy worked at University of Oxford Botanic Garden & Harcourt Arboretum, firstly as General Foreman, and eventually as Director. He is now a lecturer in Plant Sciences at Somerville College, Oxford.
