Troy’s last ‘visit’ to us was via Zoom in early 2021 with a superb talk on old roses, we can expect a similarly inspirational talk – this time about bulbs.
Troy is a strong advocate of the bulb layer in the garden, both in pots and in the border. In this lecture he will guide us through everything from selecting and ordering, to using in tandem with other plants.
One of Britain’s best-known head gardeners, Troy has devoted his career to the beauty and romance of gardening, becoming a Head Gardener at just 25 years of age. Troy gardened at the renowned Grade I listed Sissinghurst from 1992 – 1997 and returned as Head Gardener from 2013 – 2019. Following two years at the privately owned Iford Manor Gardens in Wiltshire, he again returned to Sissinghurst in 2021.
